This is inside kennels that are connected to the...outside kennel area.
This is looking in from the outside kennel area through to see the inside kennel area.
This outside play area is right beside the outside kennels entrance. The gated square is where the animals have a fifteen minute "play time" every day. I'm trying to let y'all see what I experience. Whenever I get there I'm so focused on taking pictures of the animals, but next week I'll try and take more pictures of the shelter...
Wow that is so different from the Wake County Animal Shelter! I like how it connects to the outdoors and how they get play time every day! Must be nice to have the freedom :)
ReplyDelete@Kiba Yes I agree, however I do live at the beach so for the past couple of days it's been in the 90's during the day...so I'd be interested to see what is done during those really hot days for the animals.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for posting this. It is so helpful for us to see and compare. The outdoor section is really nice. I wonder if this fresh air helps stop the amount of upper respiratory infections (URI) seen at the shelter? WCAS has quite a few cases, and I am thinking fresh air could be very helpful.
